Cleaning is the most visible part of how a property is looked after. It is also where cheap arrangements show up fastest, in reviews and in the condition of the house.

What's included
You will not need every line every month. But this is what a competent company does — and what we check before recommending one.
Weekly or monthly upkeep for occupied homes — floors, bathrooms, kitchen, surfaces.
Before you arrive, before guests, or after a long closed period.
Between guest stays, including linen change and a check for anything left behind.
Change, laundering and replacement tracking so nothing runs short in high season.
For rentals with high turnover, or after illness.
Outdoor furniture, terraces and pool surrounds — the parts guests notice first.
Cleaning products and guest supplies restocked and billed transparently.
Dated photographs after each clean, so you know the standard actually happened.
How it is priced
Anyone quoting a flat monthly figure before seeing your property is guessing — and you will find out after you sign which way they guessed.
| Item | How it is usually charged |
|---|---|
| Regular cleaning | Hourly or fixed per visit, by property size and frequency |
| Deep clean | Priced per property, one-off |
| Changeover clean with linen | Per changeover — the standard short-term arrangement |
| Linen and consumables | At cost, itemised, or included depending on the agreement |

Questions owners ask
It is priced by property size and frequency — hourly or fixed per visit for regular cleaning, and per changeover for short-term lets. A two-bedroom condo and a large pool villa are not comparable jobs.
Usually yes, either itemised at cost or folded into the changeover fee. Clarify before you sign, because linen replacement in high season is a real recurring cost that owners often forget.
Yes. Many owners use a cleaning arrangement on its own, particularly if the property is occupied and simply needs regular upkeep.
Ask for dated photographs after each visit, and check your reviews if the property is let. A company that cannot show you evidence of the last clean is asking you to take it on trust — which is exactly what the photographs are for.
