I travel for months at a time
The house sits empty while you are away, and you need someone reliable in the gap — not a favour from a neighbour.
Expats
You are not a distant owner. You are here enough to notice when something is not done properly, and you would rather have the right local people on call than manage contractors yourself.
Free for owners. Our partners pay us — you pay their normal rate.
What owners tell us
We hear the same worries from expats over and over. If one of these is yours, you are in the right place.

«
A plumber one month, someone else the next, none of them quite accountable for the last job.
«
The tap that drips, the pump that is noisy, the palm that needs trimming — none urgent, all still there.
«
Not as a business, just so it is not empty and costing you money every month.
What you actually need
Most companies sell you everything. Here is what genuinely matters for your situation.
| Priority | Why it matters to you |
|---|---|
| Someone reliable on call | You need a number that answers, including on a Saturday, when the pump fails. |
| Invoices you can check | Living here makes it easier to spot a marked-up invoice — but only if you actually see one. |
| Bills handled | Electricity, water, internet and common-area fees paid on time while you are travelling. |
| Pool and garden on schedule | The two jobs that never stop in this climate, and the two that are easiest to let slide. |
| Rental income if you want it | Your property can earn while you are away, on a long lease that ends when you want it back. |
Where to go next
How we work with you
Where it is, how you use it, and what worries you. Fifteen minutes, no commitment, and we will say early if we cannot help.
Two or three companies with real depth in your area — checked for invoice transparency, response time and references. Usually two working days.
You sign with the manager you prefer. If something goes wrong later, come back to us — re-running the shortlist costs you nothing.
Questions owners ask
Often the right answer is a lighter arrangement: scheduled pool and garden care, a handyman on call, and someone to watch the house when you travel. Not a full management contract.
Yes, that is standard caretaking. Scheduled visits, airing, pool and garden supervision, bills paid, and a dated photo report so you know what was actually done.
Ask for the contractor's own invoice rather than a summary, and agree a spending limit in advance. Companies that mark up contractor work are not recommended by us, at all.
If it would otherwise sit empty for months, usually yes. A long lease earns less than short-term letting but needs far less attention — which suits owners who travel.
Tell us about your villa
Send us the basics — where the property is, how you use it, and what you would like taken off your plate. We come back with a plain answer and two or three vetted local companies that fit.
